Message from Coach Bex

By: 0

I have started off 2018 making one of the most challenging decisions. It is with a heavy heart I make my exit from the Dungeon coaching team.

I am so grateful for everything I have learned and contributed to. From the humble Dungeon beginnings to now, this place has grown immensely with such a strong community backing. For the past 2 years I have diverted from my time as a CrossFit trainer to develop and grow an affiliated weightlifting club (Dungeon Barbell). I am so proud of what has been achieved as a club and for the individuals amongst it.

I have come to realise that my passion for coaching is fading, so this is not a decision that can be changed or rumoured to be as a result of anything else. It is only fair you receive the most dedicated and committed trainers and coaches to help, guide and inspire you in your athletic development. I truly hope the passion returns someday.

I will continue to work on my own athletic and professional development. I have some big goals this year!

I strongly support the Dungeon community and will continue to be a part of it as a community member. I am confident in handing over the barbell club to Mitch. We are so lucky to have him! Dungeon Barbell Members – be sure to update your QWA profile please by selecting Mitch as your coach. Sharon and Malcolm are my best friends, my dearest family and nothing will change there.

Dungeon holds a huge part of my life – the last 6+ years, 5 of those as a trainer/coach. I’ll be seeing you all around from now on as a regular gym goer!

Thank you all for letting me coach you. It has been a pleasure.
